Sometimes you just need to get out with your husband. You know just one on one time. This last weekend was this time. Clayton and I were so excited that Friday had finally arrived after another long week of work, work, sleep, and more work. We made good use of this weekend marking off some summer events we had on our checklist. Clayton and I are on a summer city baseball team. I had not played baseball since 1st grade so I knew this was truly going to be an adventure! Our first game went well and was surprisingly a lot of fun! Our second game was this last Friday which was also fun. My first run resulted in a face plant right over the top of first base. Being the "tough girl" I am I jumped up and kept playing. Clayton followed my lead by completely taking out the first baseman who happened to be his boss. Clayton ended up with a swollen knee, his boss a sore wrist and I had a lovely bruise on the back of my leg. But....... WE WON! So I guess that means success.
After our game we packed our camping supplies and headed for the mountains. I have to say I have not had this much fun in little CareyVille in a LONG time. Clayton built a very impressive campfire, we set up our camping chairs that we have never used, roasted some hot dogs and enjoyed some great s’mores together. Ok that's a lie; I forgot to mention I also got my wisdom teeth out Monday so eating a s’more wasn't so much an option for me. Man I loved being out under perfect stars with perfect weather with my perfect husband. We were able to just talk about everything and catch up on "life". Those are times in life you wish you could just stop time and keep those moments going forever.
Saturday we went up to Sun Valley where we both work every day. Work is work and we finally went up to just enjoy the day and see some new things. There were fun events going on for the 4th of July coming up this week. We went to a car show, enjoyed some Smokey Mountain Pizza, pink lemonade and then sat in the ice cold river because it was so hot outside. I loved this weekend!

| Clay's truck. I told him to stand by it because I liked the color. |

| A cute red car we found at a car show. That would be so fun to drive. |

I love that you had a perfect weekend with your perfect husband! :) Makes me smile!
