July is almost done! Where has this summer gone already!? Time seems to just FLY these days and never slow down. Clayton and I have spent the last 3 months in Idaho working and saving some money up. We are already headed back to Utah in about 2 weeks. So many things have happened this month so I just want to cover the important dates that made this month so special to me.

July 6, 2012 My sweet parents received their mission call the Uruguay, Montevideo mission. I can never accurately express the deep gratitude that I have for my parents. There are no greater parents than mine. I am so absolutely blessed to call them mine. I remember teachers always asking who my role model was in life. I would ALWAYS give the same answer, my mom of course. After realizing that some children in this world didn't have the luxury of being able to have a mom as a role model daily, my heart was changed. I felt for the children who could not look up to their parents for good. I have tried not to take my parents for granted even though I know I have at times. I have been thinking a lot about my parents taking off for South America for 18 months lately. Once again, it is just so great to be able to call them MY parents. I am such a lucky girl to always have their example to follow. They have made extremely big foot steps to follow. I fall short all too often, but know those big prints will always be there to follow. I am forever grateful for them! I wish them the very best on their mission. They are so excited and just packing, packing, and packing! Mom has little Spanish sticky notes labeling everything in the house. Her Spanish is actually coming along really well. I am so excited for the people of Uruguay to have my parents join them.

July 10, 2012 - I turned the amazing age of 21. I have always been so excited to be 21, don’t ask why, I was just always so excited to turn 21. I was so excited to have my Utah drivers license turned the other direction. YAY! I guess I just always felt like I would just instantly feel like a woman at age 21. Well, it was a great birthday but I have to say that I don’t feel a whole lot different haha. Clayton made my day special by taking me to Boise so we could go play at Roaring Springs water park. I loved the day! I really just love my hubby for doing it. I just love him in general really! Now another year until age 22.

Clayton and I finish up our last week of work this week and I have to say we are counting the hours down. Clayton learned that electrical work is out in his list of occupations. He has learned a lot of useful things that will be great to have around the house one day. Getting back to school is just that much more exciting after working so hard all summer.

My brother Shane who is also headed on a mission in 2 weeks to Adelaide, Australia reports Sunday after next. Serene arrives from Nebraska on Friday. We have some very fun things planned to do with family while they are in CareyVille. It should be a party.

Cute parents came rushing home with the big white envelope. Uraguay, Montevideo Mission.Note the skype computers and map all ready on the wall. Such an exciting day.

My 21st birthday spent at Roaring Springs park in Boise. Thanks Clayton!
