Spring Break
Road
Trip 
So my Clayton's Birthday is March 10th which just happened
to land right on his spring break this year, quite convenient right! Convenient enough to take
it upon ourselves to leave Utah for a little break and change in weather. We
left the night of the 9th so we wouldn't be driving on Clay's day. We drove as
far as Las Vegas where our awesome grandparents live. His Grandma kindly took
us in and spoiled us during our stay. We sat by the pool, visited cousins, and took
advantage of another wedding gift certificate for our Olive Garden lunch. It
was so nice to be able to spend some time with Clayton and not be worried about
work and homework.
Clay's Birthday was a success. We spent most of the
morning and afternoon down by the pool and the night at the Las Vegas Temple
and strip which sounds kinda weird putting those together but it really was a
fun night.

Next, we headed down to Mesa, Arizona where we got to spend
some time with my sister Misty and brother-in-law Matt. They also gave us a bed
and had some great things ready for us to go do. Just being able to spend some
time with them was so fun!

We had a picnic at a beautiful
park and enjoyed some heaven sent burritos.

Thank goodness for Wendy’s Frostys.
Then we came home to rain and possible snow in Utah. YAY!
We had such a fun week. Thanks Misty for all you do for
us! That was so nice to have a get a way.
